Wednesday (Open Level)  7:30 - 9:00PM

Course Outline:

1. Warm-up and Stretching (5 minutes): Prepare your body for dance with brief warm-up exercises and stretches.

2.Key Movements Explanation (10 minutes): Dive into dissecting essential moves and challenging techniques, ensuring students grasp and master each step effectively.

3.Learning Dance Segments (45 minutes): Following detailed explanations, immerse yourself in a 45-minute session dedicated to learning dance segments. Follow the instructor to grasp each part of the dance, covering steps, gestures, and expressions.

KPOP dance is an essential part of South Korean pop culture, known for its dynamic choreography and vibrant performance style. It blends various dance genres like street dance, jazz, and contemporary, attracting millions of fans globally. More than just a form of musical expression, KPOP dance is a cross-cultural art form that embodies youthful energy and passion.

 

Schedule:

  • Tuesday (Open Level): 8:00 - 9:30 PM

  • Saturday (Intermediate Level): 10:00 - 11:30 AM

Course Outline:

  1. Warm-up and Stretching (15 minutes): Prepare your body for dance with warm-up exercises and stretches.

  2. Key Movements Explanation (15 minutes): We'll dive into breaking down the essential moves and challenging techniques, ensuring students understand and master each step effectively.

  3. Learning Dance Segments (45 minutes): Following detailed explanations, we'll delve into a 45-minute session dedicated to learning dance segments. Students will follow the instructor to grasp each part of the dance, covering steps, gestures, and expressions.

  4. Practice and Video Shooting (15 minutes): In the final 15 minutes, we will practice and shoot videos. Students will have the opportunity to showcase their dance skills in front of the camera, capturing their progress and growth.

  3. Learning Dance Segments (45 minutes): Receive detailed explanations and delve into learning different dance segments. Follow the instructor to master steps, gestures, and expressions.

  4. Practice and Video Recording (15 minutes): Conclude with practice sessions and video recordings to track progress and achievements. Showcase dance skills in front of the camera, capturing the journey of improvement.

&Conditioning

Friday (Beginner Level): 1:30 - 3:00 PM

  1. Isolation Techniques (30 minutes):Focus on isolating different parts of the body to improve coordination, control, and precision in movement. This segment includes exercises targeting specific muscle groups essential for dance performance.

  2. Conditioning Exercises (30 minutes):Engage in conditioning exercises tailored to strengthen muscles, increase flexibility, and improve endurance. These exercises are designed to support dance movements and enhance overall physical fitness.

  3. Integration and Application (15 minutes):Integrate isolation techniques and conditioning exercises into dance combinations. Apply learned skills to choreographed sequences, focusing on fluidity and expression while maintaining technical precision.

  4. Cool Down and Reflection (15 minutes):Conclude with a cool-down session to stretch and relax muscles, promoting recovery and flexibility. Reflect on progress and insights gained during the class.

Friday (Beginner Level): 8:00 - 9:30 PM

1.    Small Ball Technique Training (30 minutes):
Utilize small balls for core strength and balance training. Engage in passing, tossing, and ball control exercises to enhance coordination and precision in muscle movement. This segment focuses on improving stability in various body parts, fostering elegant dance postures.
   2.    Large Ball Strength Training (30 minutes):
Incorporate large balls for full-body strength training, with an emphasis on building core, lower body, and upper body strength. Through pushing, pulling, and sitting movements, this segment helps sculpt muscle lines and improve overall physical fitness. Large ball training also enhances endurance and functional strength.
   3.    Flexibility and Stretching (15 minutes):
Combine stretching exercises using small and large balls to promote flexibility and range of motion. Utilize the balls for assisted stretches, helping muscles relax and enhancing overall mobility.
   4.    Cool Down and Reflection (15 minutes):
Conclude with gentle relaxation exercises using the small and large balls, focusing on deep relaxation and recovery techniques. Participants will have the opportunity to reflect on their experiences during the class and set future training goals.
