(Foundational technique class for students ages 6 and up)

 

• Description:

   This class focuses on foundational ballet-based leap and turn techniques, designed to build strength, control, and spatial awareness in dancers of all styles. Students will learn key ballet movements such as jeté, assemblé, chaîné turns, and pirouettes, with an emphasis on clean execution, alignment, and explosive power.

 

 Through structured repetition and individualized correction, dancers develop stronger lower body power, better spotting, and smoother landings—skills that translate directly into choreography and performance.

 

This course is highly recommended as a technical support class for students studying ballet, contemporary, jazz, and competition choreography.
