This intensive explores the fusion of contemporary release techniques with anatomical precision. Dancers will learn to command their weight, master floor transitions, and express profound emotion through controlled movement.
• Dynamics of Release: Utilizing breath and gravity to create effortless, expansive movement.
• Elite Floorwork: Safe and seamless transitions between standing and floor levels, focusing on joint protection and momentum.
• Improvisation & Artistry: Guided sessions to unlock personal movement vocabulary and stage presence.
Schedule Overview:
• 09:00 | [Scientific Prep] PNF Flow & Spinal Articulation.
• 10:00 | [Technique & Floor] Weight Shifting and Kinetic Floor Mastery.
• 11:00 | [Space & Flight] Across-the-floor sequences and Suspended Movement.
• 12:15 | [Choreography] Narrative-driven routine and performance coaching.
Session 5
Director intensive camp (half day)
Leap & Turn Technique Intensive (half day)
July 13-17
Suggested Age: 8+ or at least one year of regular dance/gymnastics training.
Require : already understand how to spot while tuning.
Precision Mechanics, Explosive Power & Artistic Flow
Concept: This elite intensive is designed for dedicated dancers who aim to master the mechanics of flight and the science of vertical rotation. We move beyond simple repetition, focusing on the biomechanics and respiratory control required for elite-level execution.
Core Training Pillars
• Rotational Mechanics & Breathing: Mastering axis control and "Spotting" techniques. We integrate respiratory synchronization—using breath to stabilize the core during preparation and initiate torque for multi-rotation turns.
• Elevation & Explosive Power: Utilizing PNF and plyometric conditioning to maximize vertical jump height ("Air Time") while ensuring "prescription-grade" safe landings to protect joints.
• Combination Routines: Translating isolated skills into seamless technical sequences. Students will learn how to maintain momentum and aesthetic lines between complex leaps and turns.
• Director-Led Instruction: Hands-on corrections from our Directors to refine the "underlying logic" of every movement.
Daily Curriculum (9:00 AM – 1:00 PM)
• 09:00 – 10:00 AM | [Scientific Prep] PNF Flexibility & Respiratory Activation. Focusing on deep core engagement and spinal alignment for a stable rotational axis.
• 10:00 – 11:00 AM | [The Science of Rotation] Turns in Second, Pirouettes & Spotting. Specialized drills on breath-timing to enhance torque and balance.
• 11:00 – 12:15 PM | [Elite Elevation] Grand Jeté, Switch Leaps & Power Jumps. Breaking down the mechanics of "Take-off" and "Suspension" in the air.
• 12:15 – 01:00 PM | [Technical Combinations] Integrating leaps and turns into high-level routines. Focusing on transition flow, stage presence, and competitive-grade execution.
